drew this ugly bugger while taking care of my sick kids this past weekend. Perhaps that is what inspired the drool. Anyways ... it's busy times here with christmas and all that ... 2012 can't come fast enough. big plans :)
This is my horde ... at least part of it. Doodled quick and colored fast. They want to eat your brains and play hockey with your limbs. You could avoid all that by getting your very own zombie calendar for $15.00 and free shipping. Click here for more info.
It's caturday today ... and I asked who has a cat they wanted to see zombified. Marc responded with his cat Knulle. He was a bad ass cat in life ... and a bigger bad ass in undeath. Fear this zombie kitteh!
This is Aaron ... an amazing designer over on the googlePLUS network. He's been on my hit list for a while ... and now he's stuck in my basement, rotting away.
IF you want a zombie avatar and a FREE zombie colouring book ... check out this offer. Offer ends Nov. 28 2011
The force was strong with him ... now the only thing strong is the odour of death. I have a poll on googlePLUS to see who the next zombie will be. The last one was Obi-Wan or Darth Maul ... and the most popular choice gets zombified. Too bad for Old Ben. Next contest is running ... Yoda or Jabba ... we shall soon see.
During the month of November, men all across the world are growing moustaches in support of Movember. To help raise money and bring awareness to prostate cancer, and cancer in general. I have taken it upon myself to help women show their support by drawing willing girls, and women, with moustaches and beards. These images are all available to see on my googlePLUS album located here.
And I have also, like always, been drawing zombies whenever possible.
I had a vote going on my G+ page +THE BITTEN about who would go next ... Shane or Sofia. The people have spoken and Sofia got zombified. Time to move the story line along now folks :)
Check out theBITTEN page for the next zombification vote ... with a starwars theme.
This is the first drawing I did while at the c4con.com ... superZOMBIEman. And yes, I got some of it wrong but I was nervous and excited and obviously not thinking right.
A while back this very kind lady asked me to zombify her ... and her dog. I did, and she loved it, although she did expect a bit more gore. So in a typical state of panic and confusion I hacked her and her dog apart for the second time. This is the result, which as usual, looks better in real life.
had a great time at the comic con in Winnipeg. First one I ever attended, but it wont be my last. Learned so many things about setting up for a convention, met so many amazing people and drew a whack load of zombies.
While waiting for people to start noticing me, I drew my wife as a skinless zombie. I put it on a shirt if you want to wear my wife ;) Click here.
I have learned not to procrastinate ... though I may have learned it a little late. Last night my wife and I put this together, today I figured out a stand. Now to make a banner.
Been super busy getting ready to go to the Central Canada Comic Con from Oct. 28-30. Very nervous and filled with anticipation. Here are a few of the prints I will have available for purchase. I will also be doing live zombie portraits all 3 days and hope to meet a bunch of awesome people. I only hope I come out of it alive.
Last night I was a guest on the new www.hangoutconversations.com show hosted by Matthew Rappaport and during that time I drew one of Matthews arch-nemisises ... Mark Zuckerberg.
If you missed the show, it will be posted online at hangoutconversations.com soon.
So much to do but as always, so little time. This first doodle was for Jason Byron - it was/is his birthday and although I normally don't do this ... how could I resist with a name like jason BYRON ? No candles though, so its dynamite in the brain instead.
The other image is of Gord ... who is now a gourd. :D
Been a busy week and things are getting busier. Nearly finished theHORDE shirt!! This was a bigger job than I ever thought it would be but such a good learning experience. I will do it again but next time I'll do it right.
Also getting ready for the C4Con.com and making zombified images of 'famous' paintings. Here is one teaser image. Whatcha think?
Also doing commissions ... like this one below, which might be lost in the mail. :(
I should change this to the weekly zombie or possibly the monthly zombie ... or whenever I find the time to update it zombie. Well ... here's an update ... some zombies and mushrooms. Still going great on google Plus and drawing more and more everyday. Soon I will be holding hangout sessions and chilling with amazing people. Are you on google plus yet?
If not ... why not?
If so ... find me ... circle me ... or you'll regret it.
I went and cleaned up my studio and my art box ... and found a whole slew of zombies lying around. This is one of the reasons I prefer to work traditionally ... you can physically hold the item and you don't need to worry about hard drives crashing or forgetting to save your work. And not to toot my own horn or anything, but how cool will it look having 50+ zombies eventually hanging on my walls :) just need to buy frames now
A little while back I get a request to zombify this dudes family ... how could I say no? So it's in the mail making the slow crawl to him ... meanwhile here it is for everyone else to see.
Want your family done? Let me know ...
And here's a picture of bugs ... coming out of someones mouth. mmMmmmm
It seems the busier you get the faster time flies. So many things going on over and above family life that its starting to bruise my brain. That, or the infection is spreading internally and I am missing the signs. The hunger, the bluish green tinge to my skin, the RAGE!
Anyways ... I did another zomBthon the other day and here's some of the results, hope you like 'em
