ZOMBadocious Trump

Someone hired me to paint Donald Trump, and gave some suggestions for how he should look. The most important part was to sew his mouth shut so he'd stop spewing so much shit out in to the world. It worked for a while but eventually it started trickling out his ears.

Sleep would not come ... so at 3 in the morning the scratching began. Slowly at first then the frenetic chaos over took and the red lines flowed furiously across the paper bringing out the undead that lurked just behind my eyes. Moments later it was finished, its gaze transfixed upon the unseen being just behind me.
Sleep then placed its calming hand upon my shoulder allowing me to drift off and dream of the spreading infection.

1000 zombies infects the national post

Just over a week ago the 1000 zombies art project was featured in The National Post. In my opinion the full page spread looks awesome. Sadly, the province of Manitoba no longer sells the National Post so I couldn't buy one. Luckily they are sending me a couple issues. It's online too, if you want to read it that way.

first 50 zombies

Put together a little poster of the first 50 zombies of the 1000 zombie project. If you like it, you can buy a print from my Society6 store. If you want to take part in the project, a minimum donation of $10 gets you in. For that donation you can choose who you want to be zombified, perhaps yourself ... and you get a high res scan to print out or use as an avatar, plus you eventually get a free ebook which contains your zombie along with a story about how it became a zombie in the zombie apocalypse. There's also monthly give aways too.

stephen colbert and the zombie nation

The real patient zero and the menace behind the zombie apocalypse is none other than Stephen Colbert. He used the Colbert Nation as a way of gathering his victims under a single banner and then infected them all!

Or something. Like Stephen Colbert gives a rats ass about little zombie artists like me.

temperMENTAL tuesday

Working on a background image for a website and it has got to be the most ambitious image I have tried. All about perspective, straight lines and coolness. If the client doesn't fire me for taking so long this will be a cool image and an awesome shirt.
