after the con

had a great time at the comic con in Winnipeg. First one I ever attended, but it wont be my last. Learned so many things about setting up for a convention, met so many amazing people and drew a whack load of zombies.

While waiting for people to start noticing me, I drew my wife as a skinless zombie. I put it on a shirt if you want to wear my wife ;) Click here.

busy day of the dead

It's been a rough day. Thankfully the swimming lessons end tomorrow so my mornings can get back to normal. Main thing is I will get coffee in the morning. I miss my morning coffees.

Also busy answering emails about doing commissions and about the tshirt campaign I am running. If you're curious about that, click the link to the right ---> and sign up. I'm half way to my goal and feeling pretty damn good about it. It will be gruesomely great.

This is a zombie picture I was doing just for fun, and the one below is some guy named Sean Bonner. Found him in the googlePLUS stream and I had my way with him. He didn't struggle very much.

temperMENTAL tuesday

Working on a background image for a website and it has got to be the most ambitious image I have tried. All about perspective, straight lines and coolness. If the client doesn't fire me for taking so long this will be a cool image and an awesome shirt.

Speaking of shirts, here's a new design I uploaded to my shop today, from a doodle I made about a year ago. Check it out HERE.

hand up

This is just a quick image I made a while back, and only just found because I spent the better part of today cleaning my studio/toy room. My studio ... the kids toy room. Thats what makes it hard to get work done, its noisy. Once they are older and can be left unattended, I'm moving my studio into the spare bedroom. Until then, I suffer.

Anyways, I've been busy building up some contacts and following some potential leads for illustration work. You might find my doodles behind rusted doors or locked up in some internet dungeon somewhere some day. I've also been making some improvements to my other site, IDRAWZOMBIES ... I added some new shirts today, so please take a look if you are in need of a zombie related shirt. I will have some of my own shirts available soon as well.
