it's been a day ... it's really been a fucking shitty day ... at least the start of the day was shitty
After that initial 3 hours it got marginally better. With luck it will get better tonight and be awesome tomorrow. Fingers crossed but don't plan a fucking thing because you know as well as I do that the universe will throw a gigantic fucking monkey wrench at your life if you do. Keep things vague ... follow the direction that life is trying to take you ... make little adjustments as needed to go in the direction you wish to go.
It's like a 'be one with the force' kind of thing ...

Sometimes when I don't know what to do, I grab a paper and just start drawing and painting.

red line zombie

Sleep would not come ... so at 3 in the morning the scratching began. Slowly at first then the frenetic chaos over took and the red lines flowed furiously across the paper bringing out the undead that lurked just behind my eyes. Moments later it was finished, its gaze transfixed upon the unseen being just behind me.
Sleep then placed its calming hand upon my shoulder allowing me to drift off and dream of the spreading infection.

needs speed lines

Just a quick sketch from the idea brewing inside my head. This would probably look better cleaned up, colored and with a zillion speed lines. I am so ready for this season to be over. As much fun as it is, it is also stressful and busy, or is that busy and stressful. Whichever way, it needs to stop. Have fun, go watch The Hangover and bust a gut.

family bones

This is the first of what will possibly be many family zombie portraits. Who knows? To be fair, it was my wifes idea and she thinks its pretty cool. Drawn last night while playing crib, colored this afternoon with, yes, pencil crayons. In 5 years or so when none of my kids want to play with me, I will then have mega time to color digitally. Right now though, pencil crayons will have to do because hide and seek, dodgeball, car racing and tag take up a lot of time.

Zombie Pussy

After watching my cats get underfoot and in the way, I thought about how I will miss them when they are gone. And I hope that they never get reanimated because the thought of petting something that looks like this kind of freaks me out.

Wouldn't it be the worst to become a zombie while pinching a loaf? Having to walk around with your pants at your ankles and toilet paper stuck to your foot looking for fresh brains. I don't know about you, but I would be begging for a shot to the head.
