Caturday

This is my first #caturday post since I revamped the Daily Zombie. I had thought about doing a 'how to draw a zombie cat' type post but then my better half reminded me that today is the day we take our kids to Jam Can curling. So that's out ... this time. I wonder if I should do some how to draw videos though ... what are your thoughts?

As for the image ... just throwing paint around and letting it take its own shape ... this cat seems to pop up quite often in my drawings.

the demise of Knulle

It's caturday today ... and I asked who has a cat they wanted to see zombified. Marc responded with his cat Knulle. He was a bad ass cat in life ... and a bigger bad ass in undeath. Fear this zombie kitteh!

unblinking eyes watch you

Capping off the last week before school starts with a zombie kitteh that I started over a month ago and only got completed because my wife threatened me with housework if I didn't. She's a huge fan of the zombie kittehz but really wants to see some zombie puppehz soon.

Next week school begins and my time to draw grows by hours and hours per day ... so looking forward to it.

Title pretty much sums things up. Really looking forward to the 2 oldest going back to school next week and getting on a much better routine. So many projects on the go right now and so many other things I want to do. Be on the look out for multi-headed zombie monstrousities coming your way this month, and several other goodies I have sloshing around my wood wyrm riddled mind.

august endings

This has been a wild month. Commissions out the wazoo, zombie kittehz, spreading the horde, computer crashes, screaming kids, visiting in laws, swimming pools and corn festivals. I mentioned screaming kids right? School starts again soon, and once it does I HOPE to get so much more work done.

Yeah, missed yesterday. It happens. This really is the Almost Daily Zombie ... so there. More portraits in the works, more zombie kittehz being prepared, and 2 interviews done.

Still stalking the googlePLUS streams looking for victims. A few people are trying to bump themselves to the front but haven't found the way yet. Randomness is so much fun too.

happy cHUMP day

Some times I feel like a Chump, some times I don't. I type this up as my kids play in the rather large wadding pool my inlaws bought for them a few years back. 2 out of 3 are playing in there nicely, the 3rd is up on the deck crying because he got splashed. Go figure.

So anyways, busy working on zombie kittehz, a zombie hunter, 2 big ass zombie promotional pieces and a non zombie kitty commission. Busy days indeed.

Also created a 5x7 painting crayon colored canvas image, which is listed on etsy now.

And my neighbors crappy rotten white washed an eon ago fence fell down. I'll bet they blame my dog, the bastiches.

monday MAYHEM

The weekend was filled with some good times, some bad times, and some reflective times. I attended the celebration of the life of my friend and mentor Marcel Debreuil, and found amazing people on the googlePLUS network. Did some self promotion of the zombie shirt campaign (shown on right) and picked up a few more kittie and zombie kittehz commissions.
