Demotivational Skulls

Trying to lead a no cares life isn't easy when my own mind keeps trying to ruin things. Always sticking it's negativity where it doesn't belong. It's best to trap these thoughts on paper and then get rid of them.

Sometimes I draw and paint octopus like creatures that resemble octopi in everyway that I am able to accomplish. Sometimes they look amazingly terrible, other times just terrible. There are the rare times that they turn out amazingly . . . and amazinginly this one turned out to be ok.

RefleKtive Corrected Contempt

Some drawings and paintings really suck so they get discarded until they get repurposed. Like this one ... the drawing was okay but that was it ... so I got heavy with the pen and pounded out some animosity towards the memory of things best left forgotten ... and here we are.

Reworking and tweaking older drawings and paintings that needed tweaking and reworking. This skull is sitting on a mostly black background with orange trim. That orange is way more vibrant in real life.

the Flying Spaghetti Monster

The flying spaghetti monster is a weird beast, and not just because it consists of 2 meatballs surrounded by writhing noodely appendages, which is obviously weird, but it's also weird in the fact that it is a new type of religion (of sorts) that has spread across the world. How messed up is that? Sure it's cool but it's also very peculiar.

We're going to stop thinking about it now so we don't get distracted.

This picture was first created a while ago as a stencil. It seemed  like a good idea right up until the point of actually painting it. Then it looked dumb so it was shelved until recently. Now it resembles something that was originally envisioned. The computer image is failing to show the vibrant yellows and greens that actually make this monster painting look amazing.

The Quean loves it and it is proudly displayed on our fridge for this photograph, flanked by two of our large zombie magnets, Perry and Barry

Deaths Mask

Over the last couple weeks I've been exploring muted colors and bold lines. This a skull I painted a few days back and I call it Deaths Mask. It's looking to the future as am I, wondering where my art is leading.
