child zombie soldier

I tried to draw this zombified child soldier of the apocalypse in a hangout on air last night and explain my technique ... but my internet connection died and cut it off about 3 minutes in. I didn't notice and kept going talking to myself ... i'll try again sometime ... until then ... here's the final image.

soldier of zombie

What would you do if you saw this walking down the street. Run? Hide? Run then Hide? Pray that he doesn't remember how to use the gun. Or if he does remember, pray he's a lousy shot.

Anyways, quick doodle colored in PS. Trying to loosen up and experiment with some brushes and techniques. I wouldn't say this is a total fail, but it came close.
