painting doodle

This is my newest favourite piece and it was done just as a painting doodle. Definitely going to do a lot more of these in the coming weeks. Can you spot the zombie? ;)

who's in control

Well, this was supposed to be online on Monday but for some reason my awesome super duper laptop computer crapped out on me and I spent a whole day trying to figure out why, then yesterday playing catchup for Monday and now today I'm caught up and here is my image for your eyes.
... whew ...
This was drawn and painted on a circular piece of cardboard that I had lying around the house. Used a bic pen to sketch it out then started painting it up with watercolours ... when I was mostly happy with it I took a nice ink pen to fill in the blacks.
This is how I am meant to create my images ... from start to finish with nothing in between.

and ripped off my lips and swallowed them whole without chewing ... it was all downhill after that.

Playing around with paints today - trying to get things done without laying down ink lines. This one was a couple of light pencil lines to offer some foundation and the rest is all paint.
