monday mayhem
Day light savings really threw us off today. Our internal clocks are used to waking up at what used to be 7am, with the sun just starting to rise. Now 7am has become 8am and we nearly slept through the day. Frantic breakfast and a mad dash out the door to get the eldest child to school really leaves you frazzled. To slow things back down I water colored the above image with the boys, and once its dry I will scan it in for all to see.

finding time
The more I try to find the time to get my drawing done on the computer only, the more I realize that it will never work that way for me. At least not for a few years. So instead I am giving up. I will no longer strive to get all my work done on the computer, and settle with drawing on anything and everything, no matter where I am, when I have time to do it. And use the computer when the occasion arises to scan, upload, color or whatever.
Take the above image for example. Drawn on a piece of paper with a bic pen, scanned and colored today. Is it beautiful and flawless ... no ... but its a zombie afterall, and zombies aren't beautiful. At least its done, the site is updated, and my blood pressure went down by a couple of points. Whats even better though, is that I drew 8 more images at the same time, some of them even good enough to hang up ... or maybe sell.

its a battle
Lately I've been doing a lot of web site design for various horror themed websites, all of which I will announce as they get released. Its been fun, but I miss drawing too. So during my lunch break I doodled out the above image, and it made me realize that I need to develop my background drawing skills. I hope to get back to the drawing board soon.

the living
Sometimes you have to draw the living. They are like zombie embryos in a way. This dude above is trying to make an honest buck in the menial labor department. One day he doesn't pay attention to what he's doing and BAM! He's getting chomped on by a zombie ... only to become a zombie later. As long as he doesn't get ripped apart.
Anyways, still cranking on idz and also going strong on webcomics. Nothing online yet, but soon.

getting work done
Been a bit busy lately working on graphics for a tshirt site that I am putting together with another zombie lovin' guy, as well as getting a few other graphics finished off, like the one seen above. That one is for a horror link site, and should be live in a couple of days. Also working hard on rebuilding the failed idrawzombies.com website and making it more like the nightmare I see in my head. Once its done it should be tarnished gold seal of my total awesomeness. At the very least is should give visitors an instant idea of what I do. Below is a link to the site, and my first 125x125 banner.
If you want some graphic work done, drop me a line. I'm always looking for more gigs because feeding zombies isn't cheap, and covering it up with spin doctors and media manipulation is also costing me an arm and a leg. Seriously, you should see my legs. You would throw money at me if you did.
