yellow zombie

Those of you that know me know that I have a really busy family life. I'm involved in all aspects of my 3 childrens lives, and they keep me busy from the moment they wake up to about 2 1/2 hours after they've gone to bed. It's rewarding most of the time, and frustrating the rest of the time. I have no life and I don't really expect to have one for at least another 4 or so years. That means my comic/illustration career is slow on the uprise.

But it is rising. My newest adventure is going to be happening right here on this very site. Instead of just a doodle a day, starting tomorrow it will be a doodle with a story.

some quick sketches from my sketchbook put together. It's been a helluva week with the kids, but things are starting to settle down.
And on that note, my middle child is storming up the stairs.

Just a quick image tonight. Busy doing lots of stuff, including a redesign of my site under a new name yet to be announced, a couple of webcomics by various writters and lots of other stuff, including and monopolizing all my time, theKIDS. If only there was more help, but as a woman I know always says ... 'you made your bed, blah blah blah'

the end of the block

The only reason I can think of for that title is that it feels like the end of the artists block for me. This was a quick little image inked then watercolored for shits and giggles. And while I stared at it something went click inside me and now I think I am ready to really begin production on a whole lot more stuff.
Lets see how I feel when I wake up.
